How to set up Sentinel locks and connect them to ATOM dashboard

In order to configure a Sentinel lock you will need an account on the Sentinel platform, so that ATOM can afterwards establish an integration for your service and you can add your yet unregistered IoT devices.

Once your Sentinel account is created, follow the below steps:

  1. provide the credentials - email and password - to ATOM support team, so we can establish the connection between your locks and your platform on ATOM;

  2. you will also need to log into your Sentinel account and access the settings here: https://open.sentinel-tec.com/admin/setting

  3. next to API authentication section click the cogwheel button on the right side:

  4. type in your email address and request a verification code:

  5. you will need to use the code you received to your email address, use it for the input and then press “Confirm";

  6. after confirming, you will see the client ID and secret key from Sentinel - save them and forward to ATOM team for further processing;

  7. Afterwards add your IoT devices/locks and your vehicles to the dashboard: https://support.atommobility.com/en/articles/5405149-how-to-add-iots-and-vehicles

If everything is configured and added correctly, you will see that the IoT device/lock is sending its signal through. Check column "Last update: x min.", e.g. (it should show exact time when last signal was received):
