In case you're using speed limit zones and the speed limitation upon entry into the zone works fine, however remains in place also when the vehicle exits the speed limit zone, the cause for this usually is the missing default speed in your vehicle model, see example below:

After the above highlighted value is entered and saved to the vehicle model, it will be able to enforce this default speed whenever the vehicle exits the speed limit zone.
