In cases when some of your vehicles stop sending a signal to ATOM ("Last update" indicator in Manage IoT and Vehicles section is too far in the past) the cause is usually connected either to the mobile network connection or to hardware configurations and/or connections.

We suggest to start with the following checks on your side:

1) is the same ATOM IP and PORT used on the problematic devices, as on the ones working well for you?

2) are your SIM cards activated in these IoT devices and mobile data is enabled for them?

3) is your SIM card compatible with your IoT devices (both support 2G or 4G connection, for example) ?

4) is the hardware correctly connected?

5) are all these vehicles outside and not in an underground parking / roofed warehouse etc.?

If the issue concerns your entire fleet, the cause can be a loss of network on your mobile operator side - reach out to them and check if they are performing any maintenance in your area or if perhaps there is any issue with the SIM card batch you received.

If after all of the above checks are done and you have eliminated these as possible causes for your issues, please reach out to help@atommobility.com, so our team can help you investigate further.
