In order to configure Teltonika IoT you will need:

- 1 IoT;

- 1 vehicle;

- 1 SIM card with no PIN, but with an internet connection;

- MicroUSB to USB cable;

- Windows laptop/pc;

- Teltonika configurator app.

Follow the below steps to configure your Teltonika IoT:

1) Ask Teltonika to provide their configurator app for your IoT devices, apps are different by IoT model. Teltonika should provide access and instructions how to get this app. Alternatively you can look the software up in the Teltonika webpage:

2) Connect the IoT with the SIM card (without setting a PIN code) to your vehicle by 5 pin cable;

3) Wait for 5 minutes to fully upgrade vehicle firmware;

Then follow the steps shown in this video:

4) Connect the IoT to your PC with the MicroUSB cable (see video for reference);

5) In the Teltonika configurator you will see this device appear (see video for reference);

6) Click on it to enter its settings (see video for reference);

7) Go to the Teltonika configurator and click here (see in video):

8) Send this .cfg file to ATOM support team for review via email and also be sure to let us know which Teltonika configurator version you are using;

9) ATOM will check and let you know if the .cfg file you provided is in order and send you back an updated file;

10) Set this file in your Teltonika configurator by clicking LOAD FROM FILE button;

11) Click SAVE TO DEVICE button (important!);

12) To be sure the GPRS settings of your SIM card are correct and the internet is working you can check if there is data being transmitted, like in this example below:

13) If all is fine then set the same .cfg file also for all your other Teltonika IoT devices through the configurator in order to finalize the process.

NB! In order for ATOM to be able to provide support for your customized vehicle commands, please also confirm the following:

1) list of Teltonika commands your vehicles will use;
2) what commands we need to send in which order on different ride-related events - ride start, ride end, pause, unpause, setting vehicle in Charging and/or Transportation status;

3) which parameters ATOM needs to monitor for your vehicles to detect lock and unlock status, ignition on and off status if applicable, battery level and any additional optional parameters (helmet compartment, top case, back seat status etc.).

Afterwards add your IoT devices and your vehicles to the dashboard:

If everything is configured and added correctly, you will see that the IoT device/lock is sending its signal through. Check column "Last update: x min.", e.g. (it should show exact time when last signal was received):
