In cases when your associated Google account billing method is no longer valid (for example, the payment card is expired or the account is depleted) your Google Maps in the dashboard will be displayed with the below overlaid error message:
Please take the following steps to add/update your billing information:
1. Log-in to your Google account you provided us before (during the onboarding stage)
2. Open this link: https://console.cloud.google.com/billing
3. Click "My projects" and find your project:
4. Click there to change billing:
Add a valid payment card with some funds on the account, as Google can charge a small amount for using their services.
5. Make sure you click "Activate" button on top:
The Google Maps error should disappear shortly after you've completed the above actions and refreshed your dashboard.
