Subscriptions allow your clients to purchase daily limits usable on your service up front and not worry about getting charged after each ride or purchase subscriptions with predefined limits for the entire validity period of the subscription.

NB! Unlike pricing packages, subscriptions are not limited to one ride, but are valid for a predefined subscription period.

You can set up subscriptions through the dashboard under More -> Subscriptions -> Manage Subscriptions:

Click Add new subscription on the top right-hand side to proceed and fill in the subscription details:

You can create different types of subscriptions (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly passes, etc.) and set limits for each type.

NB! The limits will reset each day (24h from the moment the subscription is purchased) in case you have chosen the Daily limit subscription type. If you choose Limit per whole duration, the limits will not reset every day but will be applied to a whole defined duration of a specific subscription.

There are several criteria you will need to define when creating a new subscription:

  1. The step number will indicate the subscription's prioritization, defining whether it will be displayed at the top of the list or below other subscription options.

  2. Title of the subscription in all available localizations (if any) has to be filled in.

  3. If you wish to not give any included unlocks in a subscription, for example, leave this field empty. Your users will have to pay for unlocking a vehicle on top of what they have paid for the subscription. You can also indicate the amount of unlocks included in their subscription.

  4. The same applies to the ride minutes, km, and pause minutes.
For "unlimited" values in the subscriptions (e.g., unlimited unlocks per subscription) simply indicate a large number that the users would not normally exceed within the subscription duration.

  5. You can also set up recurring subscriptions - this will allow your clients to purchase subscriptions that automatically renew when the set-up duration is over. For example, for a 1-day pass, renewal takes place every day; for a 30-day pass, every 30 days etc.).

NB! In the customer app, the client will see auto-renewal information for the subscription at the bottom of the screen and be able to opt out of autorenewal on his side.

NB! If the payment for an auto-renewable subscription fails, the subscription will be canceled automatically from the system side, and the user will be notified via push notification from your app.

6. Be sure to activate the subscriptions you create so that your users can see them in the apps.

NB! Note that existing and activated subscriptions cannot be edited anymore, so if you wish to modify a subscription already online, you will have to deactivate it and create a new one. A deactivated subscription will disappear from the user apt, but all users with active subscriptions will retain all benefits till the end of the original validity period.

You can always check in each customer's profile through your dashboard if they have purchased a subscription and if it is still active or has expired:

A subscription is automatically marked as expired on the last day of validity or once the customer uses all subscription limits included.

A subscription can also be canceled from the Dashboard:

NB! Note that the system rounds the ride time upwards, which is based on the fact that there's no price per second, and the ride is being paid for in full minutes as the smallest unit of measure for time. This also means that when summing up the riding time of the user during a subscription period, the system adds up the rounded ride times, not the exact ones. This means that if a customer has done three rides with duration 3:41, 4:15 and 2:08min, the system will sum up the rounded times of 4, 5 and 3min resulting in 12min being deducted from available subscription limits. If the user gets only 10min of ride time in his subscription, he will need to pay for the additional 2min of time.

NB! Subscriptions are not subject to discounts (promo codes that grant a discount %, customer group discounts, etc.).
