Dynamic pricing in vehicle sharing offers numerous benefits to vehicle providers. It allows them to maximize revenue by adjusting prices in real-time based on factors like demand or time of day. This flexibility helps optimize vehicle utilization, reducing idle times and ensuring a more efficient fleet operation. Additionally, dynamic pricing can encourage off-peak usage, balancing demand throughout the day and improving overall customer satisfaction by providing cost-effective options.

Your ATOM Dashboard allows you to ensure that your services' pricing automatically adjusts based on time of day and day of the week. This feature lets you automate price adjustments by setting time-sensitive multiplicators that will increase or decrease your service's price, for example, twice the normal price for weekend evenings or a 30% discount early Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.

Setting Up Dynamic Price

The system will take the standard price for the Vehicle model (vehicle-sharing module) or Vehicle class (ride-hail module) and multiply it by the multiplicator set in Dynamic pricing if the ride is started/requested within specified times and days.

1. Set up your dynamic pricing rule first - go to More -> Dynamic Pricing

Use a negative multiplicator for discounts and a positive one for increased pricing.

You can define the days of the week and times when a specific dynamic pricing will be applied, or use it 24/7.

Once all dynamic pricing rules have been created, enable them per vehicle model/class. Navigate to More -> Vehicle Models (Vehicle classes in Ride-Hailing module), choose the relevant vehicle model, and apply one or more dynamic pricing rules:
