The Ring functionality in the customer apps allows more convenience to your users - they can locate the vehicle faster with the help of a sound and light signal that the user can trigger in the app. This can be especially useful if you have a parking area full of the same kind of vehicles and the user needs to locate a specific one they see in your mobile app.
In the user app the customer can trigger the Ring function through the vehicle card in the app. Press More on the left side under the vehicle image and press the Ring option to trigger the sound/light signal:
ATOM has the same global settings for allowed ring actions and timeouts for the end-users:
a user is allowed to trigger the Ring button 3 times within an 8-hour timeframe -
2 times per unique vehicle within 30 seconds, and after the 30 seconds pass, the user can trigger the Ring again on the same vehicle.
The user is allowed to trigger the Ring on 3 different within an 8-hour timeframe -
after the last ring action, all ring limits will reset.
All ring limits are also being reset after the user ends a ride.
