Currently ATOM uses the integrations with Intercom and Zendesk to support in-app chat option for your customers.
To take advantage of the integration ATOM has with Intercom, you'll need to sign up and create an account at Intercom. As they are a 3rd party service, Intercom will apply their own fees, you can check their pricing and plans here: https://www.intercom.com/pricing
If you decide to onboard with Intercom and use the chat function, let ATOM support know, so we can enable this in your apps from our side as well.
Your app users will be able to use the chat function as shown below in the app screen:
Intercom also allows you to create your customer surveys that users will be able to see when they open your apps, similarly to how in-app push notifications (made with OneSignal) are displayed.
Additionally Intercom will allow you to create email campaigns, for example, but that will not be directly connected to your apps and will be fully managed by you independently from ATOM. The number of functionalities you will get in Intercom will depend on the plan you choose with them.
โNB! All the chat, email campaign and the related statistics you will need to manage directly through your Intercom account.
If you want to use in-app chat powered by Zendesk, first you will need to contact Zendesk team, clarify the pricing applicable and open an account there.
Afterwards follow the below steps:
1. Log into xxx.zendesk.com (xxx varies by client - yourclientname.zendesk.com);
2. Click the gray chat icon at the top right corner:
3. Click on "Simulate visitor":
4. A pop-up window will appear. At the end of the URL, there is your account key - please copy it and forward to ATOM team:
Alternatively, if your can access your Chat dashboard, click on the profile icon at the top right corner and click on Check connection:
The pop-up window should have your account key listed on top right after the Build Version:
Provide this key to ATOM Support team at help@atommobility.com.
