You can choose the payment method you wish to apply to your service in the dashboard by going to More -> Settings -> System Preferences -> Payments:

There are four types of payment options supported by ATOM for your service:

1) Pay after ride - user adds a valid payment card in the app and pays after their ride (there is no option to add any money to the wallet in the app). The transaction happens after the ride is ended:

A small amount of money can be taken when a new payment card is added and the amount is added to the user's balance (0,10 - 1 EUR):

2) Wallet - user adds money to the wallet (there are 3 top-up options, for example, 3 EUR, 5 EUR, 10 EUR), then starts the ride:

You can also define the Minimal amount on the wallet to start the ride - users have to have at least X EUR in their wallet to start a ride:

If the user has less amount than X EUR on the wallet, the user needs to top-up their wallet. If a user had, for example, 5 EUR in the wallet, but had a ride for 8 EUR, the remaining 3 EUR will be charged after the ride to their payment card:

3) Wallet + Pay after ride - the user has the wallet option available in the app, but also can start the ride with 0 EUR in the wallet if the payment card is already saved in the app ("Minimal amount on the wallet to start the ride" equals 0 EUR in this case). To add a payment card to the app, the user has to either make a top-up at least once or click on the chosen vehicle and click Start the ride - at that moment the system will ask to add a valid payment card.

Additionally you can also Allow allow users to ride using bonuses (valid for Wallet payment method) or disable this option if you wish to prevent your users to start their ride with just a bonus in their profile:

For example, "Minimal amount on the wallet to start the ride" is set to 3 EUR, but the user has 1 EUR of real money and 2 EUR bonus. For customer satisfaction, better to allow this, for fraud prevention better to disable this option in case you have a lot of debtors.

In case you have subscriptions maintained for your service you can also choose to prohibit or allow users to purchase subscriptions using bonuses:

4) Lastly, in case your service does not require an integrated payment solution within your apps, you can onboard at ATOM with no payment integration. For example, if your ride-sharing service is connected to a specific hotel or camping site where the customers pay at a reception/registration desk for booking the vehicle and then afterwards just unlock and end the ride through your app.
