In order to be able to add vehicles to your fleet you first need to maintain at least one vehicle model for your service in the dashboard.

You can maintain information for your vehicle model(-s) by going to the dashboard section More -> Settings -> Vehicle models:

Click Add new model button to proceed:

And afterwards fill in at least all the mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*):

Mandatory information:

Model name - maintain a self-explanatory model name for your vehicle;

Max distance - limit the maximum distance your users can travel within one ride;

Fixed price to start - define an "unlock" price for the ride;

Time price - ride per min or per hour;

Subaccount - select the applicable subaccount of your service ("Global", if you don't maintain subaccounts for your service);

Vehicle type - choose the vehicle type you operate (kick-scooter, e-bike, moped, etc.);

Short tutorial - select the tutorial that will be shown before the ride starts (default or any custom one you create previously through the dashboard).

NB! In case you maintain multiple subaccounts for your service, for your convenience you can create a vehicle model for each subaccount and have a reference to the subaccount name in the vehicle model name.

Optional information:

Price per km - you can choose to define a price per km additionally to the price per min if necessary;

Price per pause min - in case you choose to let your users pause their rides, define a price for each pause minute;

Max price per ride - cap the ride price that will be charged to your client (useful in case there have been issues ending the ride normally and you do not want to excessively charge your clients);

Default speed - maintain a default vehicle speed the IoT will send to the vehicle if that is necessary;

Vehicle map icon set - in case you have multiple types of icons to apply to your vehicles, choose the applicable map icons for this vehicle model;

Min/Max vehicle voltage - add battery voltage range based on the vehicle specifications;

Stop the vehicle when battery is below specific % - maintain a borderline battery level when the scooter should stop in order not to deplete the battery completely.

You are also able to edit information for an already maintained vehicle model.

Simply click the menu on the top right-hand side and choose Edit:

Edit the information you wish to update and afterwards click Save to apply the changes.
