Zone pricing allows operators to define pricing rules based on specific pickup and drop-off locations.

Pricing zones can be created and used to apply different fare rules depending on the pickup zone, drop-off zone, vehicle class, or a combination of these conditions.

Feature description:

Two types of pricing rules are supported:

  • Override price replaces the standard calculated ride fare with a fixed price.

  • Add surcharge adds a fixed amount to the normally calculated ride price.

For example, an operator can configure:

Airport pickup: Airport → Any destination, standard fare + 5 EUR

City centre entry: Any pickup → City Centre, standard fare + 2 EUR

Fixed airport transfer: Airport → City Centre, with a fixed price of:

  • 30 EUR for Economy vehicle class

  • 50 EUR for Luxury vehicle class

Pricing rules can be applied to selected vehicle classes and enabled or disabled individually.

Multiple surcharge rules can apply to the same ride.

For example, a ride from the Airport to the City Centre can have both an airport pickup surcharge and a city-centre drop-off surcharge applied.

If a fixed-price rule and surcharges apply to the same ride, the fixed price is used as the base fare and the applicable surcharges are added on top. For example, a 30 EUR fixed airport transfer with a 5 EUR airport surcharge and a 2 EUR city-centre surcharge would result in a final fare of 37 EUR.

Zone pricing is applied consistently across the rider app, dispatcher, web booker, and API.
