Zendesk - possibilities and set-up

Currently ATOM Mobility supports two Zendesk features within our existing integration - in-app chat being the most popular one, followed by e-mail marketing / outreach option.

If you want to use in-app chat powered by Zendesk, first you will need to contact Zendesk team, clarify the pricing applicable and open an account there.
​NB! Your Zendesk account should have "Messaging" option disabled.

Afterwards follow the below steps:

1. Log into xxx.zendesk.com (xxx varies by client - yourclientname.zendesk.com);

2. Click the gray chat icon at the top right corner:

3. Click on "Simulate visitor":

4. A pop-up window will appear. At the end of the URL, there is your account key - please copy it and forward to ATOM team:

Alternatively, if your can access your Chat dashboard, click on the profile icon at the top right corner and click on Check connection:

The pop-up window should have your account key listed on top right after the Build Version:

Provide this key to ATOM Support team at help@atommobility.com.

NB! If "Messaging" is enabled in your Zendesk account, you will not see AccountKey in Chat screen, and this will prevent ATOM from linking your support chat to your mobile apps.
