To support the growing need for country-specific tax compliance in ride-hailing operations, ATOM Mobility has introduced a new feature that allows merchants to configure driver-specific VAT percentages directly within the driver’s profile. This enhancement provides greater flexibility for platforms operating in regions where different VAT rates apply to different categories of taxi drivers.

From the merchant dashboard, admins can now enter the applicable VAT rate for each driver individually. When automatic invoicing is enabled, this VAT percentage will be displayed on the end-user invoice, ensuring transparency for riders and full compliance with local legislation.

If no VAT value is set for a particular driver, the system will automatically revert to the global VAT percentage defined at the subaccount level, ensuring consistent and reliable fallback behavior.

To make management and auditing easier, the driver-specific VAT rate is also included in all relevant system exports—such as the driver list, ride reports, and driver data exports. This enables platforms to maintain clear and accurate records for accounting, reporting, and tax purposes.
