The pre-ride questionnaire feature allows you to easily gather important information from your customers before they start using your services. By defining a set of questions in the app, you ensure that customers provide the necessary details before their ride begins.

When to Use the Pre-Ride Questionnaire

This feature is especially useful in the following situations:

  1. Collecting additional end-user data: You may need to gather details like address, age, personal ID number, etc., for reporting purposes required by your local municipality.

  2. Adding information to customer invoices: Ensure compliance with government requirements by collecting taxpayer numbers, addresses, and other invoicing details.

  3. Notifying users of policy changes: Inform your customers about important updates to your Terms & Conditions and obtain their consent.

  4. Conducting customer surveys: Gather feedback from your active users on service quality or gauge interest in new service offerings.

With the pre-ride questionnaire feature, you can streamline information collection and improve customer communication, ensuring you meet regulatory requirements and maintain high service standards.

Here's how to create your own pre-ride questionnaire:

Navigate to More -> Settings -> Customer form in your dashboard:

Then add and save your questions:

Once all questions are created and saved, you can group them into a form and save it. You can create multiple different forms if needed:

Forms should afterwards be linked to a specific vehicle model/class under More -> Settings -> Vehicle models/classes.

On the right side of the below image you can see how a pre-ride questionnaire will look in the user app:

Note that you will be able to view the current customer responses to your pre-ride questionnaire in the export from the Customers section and all of the responses (current and historical ones) in the Rides export for the customers).
